Bulls-Timberwolves trade

The Chicago Bulls have sent All-Star Jimmy Butler and the No. 16 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn, and the No. 7 pick.

The news broke during ESPN’s coverage of the NBA Draft on Thursday evening.

Minnesota is building a solid core, as it now adds Butler to a dynamic duo of Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns. Butler is reunited with former head coach of the Bulls, Tom Thibodeau, as well.
