Hoops Recap: Week 2

The second week of the NBA season was one no fan wanted to miss, but you can only watch so many games. Luckily, in Week 2, there was a myriad of games to watch.

It was the week of down-to-the-wire finishes and buzzer beaters, as the 2017-2018 season continues to impress people with some surprising teams and breathtaking performances by the worlds best.

BREAKING: Paul George traded to Thunder

The Western Conference just got even better. Per Ramona Shelburne, of ESPN, the Indiana Pacers, and Oklahoma City Thunder agreed on a trade to send Paul George to the Thunder.

In return, the Thunder send shooting guard Victor Oladipo and power forward Domantas Sabonis to Indiana.

Monday night was the inaugural NBA Awards show, as some of the league’s best players were honored. The event was televised on TNT and was held at Basketball City in New York City.

Awards were handed out to players in six different categories: Rookie of the Year, Sixth Man, Most Improved Player, Coach of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Most Valuable Player.
